Our Payment and Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive the letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows: –

• 30 days prior to arrival – 0% of the tour cost.
• 15 days to 29 days prior to arrival – 30% of the tour cost.
• 07 days to 14 days prior to arrival – 40 % of the tour cost.
• 02 days to 06 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour cost.
• Less than 48 hours or no show – NO REFUND.

In case of Sikkim Tour this policy will not be applicable in the month of May, June & September. For these month all amounts will be charged as retention. In case of special train journeys and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required). In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund. Feathers India TNT reserves the right to change/modify or terminate the offer any time at its own discretion and without any prior notice. In case of unavailability in mentioned hotels, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel.

Refund :

In regard to the refund of unused/unutilized services (which are paid for and canceled in advance), the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of the cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to the Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.

Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel costs,s or guide charges, the same would be charged as extra. 6 NIGHT / 7 DAYS 8 NIGHT / 9 DAYS The Mishmi hills rise around the dibang river basin at the tip of India and is the southward extension of the himalayan range which mostly falls in the dibang valley region. Mishmi Hills is one of the least explored region with abundance of rich flora and fauna with over 670+ birds species. We will spend a good amount of time covering the Dibang Valley, Sally Lake, Roing Grasslands & Maguri Beel in this 6 day tour.

Day-wise Itinerary:

Day 1:

Dibrugarh Airport- Roing • Meet our representative at Dibrugarh Airport, an airport adjacent to Tinsukia Town- Assam, in the Morning before 11 am. • Drive down to Roing through scenic, winding roads along the Brahmaputra valley (145 km, 3hrs ), check into Arunachal Border- Inner Line. • Post a quick lunch you will undertake a safari in the grassland area. The primary focus of the excursion is to seek the Endangered Black-breasted Parrotbill, Jerdon’s Babbler, Spot breasted-scimitar Babbler, Daurian Redstart, Striated Grassbird, Chestnut-capped Babbler and some grassland species. • Check-into your resort and spend your time at leisure. • Stay overnight at Roing. • Meal Plan – Lunch + Dinner

Day 2 :

Roing- Mishmi Hills • Start your day early and drive to Mishmi hills (54 km, 2hrs ) doing enroute birding covering Sally Lake, Tiwarigaon and Dibang Valley. • Check into your accommodation and retire for the night. * If time permits, we will undertake a short owl session, post dinner. • Stay overnight at Mishmi. • Meal Plan – Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 3 & Day 4:

Mishmi Hills • Post a quick and early breakfast , birding around coffe house, mayodia pass, hunli- anini road, 65 Mile & lower dibang valley for the day round. Lunch on the way. • Evening back to the stay at Mayodia Pass, post-dinner similar to night activities will be repeated to increase your chances to get closer sightings. • Back to your stay by past midnight. • Night at Mishmi. • Meal Plan – Breakfast + Lunch + Snacks + Dinner

Day 5 :

Mishmi Hills- Maguri • Start your day very early and check-out with your luggages. • Similar to the previous day, you will take a trip from your stay to Maguri Beel doing enroute birding (168km, 4.5hrs). • Turn in for the night at the eco resort in Maguri. • Meal Plan – Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 6 :

Roing- Maguri Beel • Today we will bird in & around the maguri grasslands searching for Swamp Prinia, Marsh Babbler, Swamp Francolin, Chestnutcapped Babbler, Striated Babbler, Jerdons Babbler, Yellowbellied Prinia, Chinese Rubythroat, Eurasian Wryneck, Spotbilled Duck to name a few. • Back to the camp by 4:30 pm. • We strongly recommend you to take enough rest for night exploration post dinner. • We start owling from 6:30 to midnight looking out for Oriental Scops Owl, Collared Scops Owl, Brown Bobook. • Back to your stay by past midnight and take rest. • Meal Plan – Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner OPTIONAL EXTENSION : Dehing Patkai National Park

Day 7 & Day 8 :

Maguri Beel- Dehing Patkai • For the next couple of days, we will visit the Dehing Patkai National Park for some endemic species. • Highlights: Streaked Wren Babbler, Rufous-throated Fulvetta, Grey-peacock Pheasant, Chestnut-backed Laughingthrush, Silver-breasted Broadbill, White-winged Wood Duck, Redheaded Trogon, Rufous-throated Fulvetta, Oriental-bay Owl are few key highlights. • Back to your accommodation by evening at maguri and spend your time at leisure. • Meal Plan – Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner.

Day 9 :

Maguri Beel- Dibrugarh Airport • Today morning we will have a quick session at maguri grassland for a repeat. • Post your breakfast we will start for Dibrugarh Airport ( 45 kms, 1hr) • Your tour concludes upon arrival at Dibrugarh Domestic Airport, Assam. • Turn in for the night at the eco-resort in Maguri.

• Carry two copies of photographs and photocopies of valid identity proofs for Inner Line Permits (ILP). Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has stopped giving online ILPs. • But you can obtain them at the Santipur check post, 23km ahead of Roing, en route to Sadiya Ghat-Roing road. • Mobile Network connectivity is avalaible for JIO and will be limited for Airtel, Vodafone & BSNL. • The temperature ranges between 4-12 deg lowest to the warmest of 25 deg Celsius. • The Electricity supply is restricted for 2 hrs from 6-8pm in Mishmi coffee house, within the time you have to charge your camera and phone batteries. And again headed towards our first destination Padamchen. The permit will be done at Rongle Bazaar. Birding will be done on the way. After check-in at the hotel, post Lunch birding will be done around Padamchen. Night stay at Padamchen.

Day 2 :

Morning birding will be done around Padamchen and after Breakfast, start early for Thambi View Point (Lumthung) our next destination situated in the Pangolakha WLS (via Zuluk). Birding will be done on the way. Check-in at Lumthung and post-Lunc birding will be done around Lumthung. Night stay at Lumthung.

Day 3 :

The whole day of birding will done around Pangolakha WLS our target species (Himalayan Monal, Great Parrotbill, Fulvous Parrotbill, Pink-browed Finch, Fire-tailed Myzornis, Fire-tailed Sunbird, White-winged Grossbeck, Blood Pheasent and many high altitude birds. Night stay at Lumthung.

Day 4 :

Same routine, while day birding will be done around Pangolakha WLS. Night stay at Lumthung.

Day 5 :

Morning birding will be done around Thambi view point. And after breakfast, we will start for NJP railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport.

Little Owl, white-rumped snow finch, rufous necked snow finch, Ground Pecker, Robin Accenter, white-winged Redstart etc. Come back to Lachen and night stay at Lachen. Day 4-

Manas National Park is a national park, UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, Project Tiger reserve, biosphere reserve and an elephant reserve in Assam, India. Located in the Himalayan foothills. The park is known for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife such as the Assam roofed turtle, hispid hare, golden langur, and pygmy hog. Manas is famous for its population of wild water buffalo.
